I have known Kay all my life. She was good fun and had great spirit. I admired her determination and independence. I liked the fact she was so straight forward and direct. She took such an interest in everything.

Over the years I spent quite a bit of time with Kay. Latterly we went to visit my father in hospital. Even then she remained determined to be independent.

I am very sad to learn of Kay's passing. I am sorry not to attend her funeral too. It's the end of an era and I shall miss her.
Please accept my deepest sympathy
